In order to be positive and attract what your heart desires, you need to be happy where you are. This is a catch-22 situation here. Most people believe that they’ll be happy once they get what they want… but in order to get what you want, you need to be happy with what you currently have. That requires gratitude. In order to be grateful, you must be aware of just how lucky you are and there are so many things that you can be aware of and grateful for.

If you’re feeling depressed at not getting what you want or you feel like your life is not progressing the way you want it to, the best way to lift your spirits up is to take stock of just how gifted you are.

If you have 2 arms, you are better off than the guy with no arms. If you have money to eat, you’re better than people struggling and starving. If your kids constantly give you problems, you are lucky that you have kids while so many others are unable to have any.

There are just so many things to be thankful for and it’s a good practice to write down 3 to 5 things that you’re grateful for everyday. This little habit will allow you to make the mental shift from a negative one to a positive one.

When you visualize your dreams and goals, you will be doing so from a good place. If you’re earning two thousand dollars a month, be happy with it because you have a job. Be grateful and when you visualize, imagine being even happier with a larger salary.

You attract what you focus on. If you focus on what’s missing in your life, you’ll attract more of the same. You may lose what you already have. You may have heard stories of people who keep losing constantly… and it always seems to get worse for them. Most of the time, these people will be the first ones to tell you just how miserable their lives are.

By constantly focusing on how miserable they are, they keep manifesting more struggle and pain in their lives. Get away from this crowd and focus on the good things in your life.

If the news depresses you and most of it usually does, stop watching it. Nothing good can come out of being more informed but less happy. Instead, focus on what’s working for you. Always be thankful for what you have and you’ll be rewarded with more.

This is one of the unwritten rules with the law of attraction. Focus on what you want and not what you don’t want. If you’re in debt, visualize earning more than what you spend. Don’t focus on clearing your debts or you’ll just keep getting more debts to clear.

If you’re in an unhappy marriage, visualize being happy with your partner instead of having less fights with them. Be thankful that you have a partner and appreciate what you have.

The law of attraction will give you whatever you ask of it… so ask wisely. Be grateful and never let the things you want make you forget the things you have.
