Hope is a funny thing, it seems to come and go with the slightest change in thinking. In times like this, and really all the time, hope may be hard to find for many people. One way to assure you embrace hope as much as possible is by using positive affirmations.
An affirmation is a positive statement that you repeat to yourself regularly. According to Psychology Today, “Generally speaking, affirmations are used to reprogram the subconscious mind, to encourage us to believe certain things about ourselves or about the world and our place within it. They are also used to help us create the reality we want—often in terms of making (or attracting) wealth, love, beauty, and happiness.”
Psychology Today further states, “Affirmations are simply statements that are designed to create self-change in the individual using them. They can serve as inspiration, as well as simple reminders. They also can serve to focus attention on goals throughout the day, which, in and of itself, has the potential to promote positive and sustained self-change.”
Today, all of us can use hope in a time where a pandemic has caused so much turmoil, fear and uncertainty and has literally left us living in a changing world. Let’s review 10 positive affirmations for building a hope mindset.
